'Business as usual' from Thurs 20/2 after Storm Dennis. Take care in the car park.
Wednesday 19th February
The offending tree has been reduced today and the car park cleared up as much as possible. There is still work to be done to some railing panels and our garden, so please still exercise care. Otherwise we are open from tomorrow, as usual. |

Tuesday 18th February
Work has begun to clear the car park, but it is still not safe to enter. We understand that main tree will be felled tomorrow Wednesday 19th Feb if conditions are suitable and then the site will be cleared completed. If all goes to plan, then the intention is to re-open the Centre on Thursday, but please check for further updates just in case, in the meantime both the Centre and Car Park are closed to the public. Until advised otherwise, please do not go into the car park or allow children to play there for health and safety reasons. |
|
Monday 17th February
Wiltshire Council's contractor has assessed the situation and the rest of the tree will need to come down. Work has started on clearing the car park and the car has been removed. So the Centre will also be closed on Tuesday 18th Feb and Wednesday 19th Feb, but hopefully will re-open on Thursday. Until advised otherwise, please do not go into the car park or allow children to play there for health and safety reasons. |
|
Sunday 16th February
One trunk of a multi limbed tree on the riverbank next to the centre has come down into the Riverside Car Park. This happened in the evening, due to Storm Dennis. No one was hurt, although one parked car sustained some damage. The Centre will be closed temporarily, whilst the car park is cleared. Until advised otherwise, please do not go into the car park or allow children to play there for health and safety reasons. |

Room Measurements
Room dimensions can be useful when considering where to place tables or chairs for an event. Please bear in mind that sufficient access to fire exits is required. Additionally, room measurements are taken from the original plans and are from the largest room points only - they do not take into account permanent fixtures and fittings. So these dimensions are for indication purposes only and we always recommend visiting Riverside in person to see the space you wish to hire.
Skate Park
The Malmesbury Skate Park is located at the rear of the building, but has a separate entrance. It is also managed separately by Malmesbury Skate Park Group (MSPG). The skatepark is only open for use at specific times, check the Malmesbury Skate Park Group facebook page for opening times or tel: 07984 743796.
